The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has disclosed his team’s target for their upcoming Ghana Premier League fixture against Karela United.
According to the coach, his high-flying side will go all out to amass maximum points from the Week 20 fixture scheduled for Sunday, January 25, at TnA Stadium.
“We will be playing at home against Karela, and we hope that we will get another win,” Ibrahim Tanko said.
The highly-rated tactician was speaking to journalists in his post-match interview after the 2-1 victory over Vision FC.
Coach Tanko, who was delighted with the result, applauded his players for fighting to pick the hard-fought win away from home.
“In all, the team showed character to fight back and win 2-1. I’m very happy with the performance of my team,” Tanko said in his assessment of the Vision FC match.
Medeama Sporting Club are currently on the longest unbeaten run in the Ghana Premier League.
The team has gone 16 matches in the division without a defeat. The last time the Yellow and Mauves lost in the Premier League was in September 2025 against their next opponent, Karela United.
