Kurt Okraku has described his time at the top level of African football as a major learning experience, as he continues his work on the CAF Executive Council.
The Ghana Football Association president, who also serves as CAF’s Second Vice President, has been present at several major football events on the continent in recent months. He believes the role has helped him grow and also given him the chance to contribute more to African football.
Speaking about his journey so far, Okraku stressed that his passion for the game remains strong and continues to drive him in his duties.
"I think my love and my passion for the sport remains undiluted and therefore I am always able to find energy to execute my role and my job. my job is to serve football and wherever I find myself I give my utmost best," he told Metro Sports.
"Serving on the highest level of the African continent has been an eye opener. obviously it is my first time there is a lot to learning from this strategic space but most importantly, there is a lot for me to offer the African game. And I have embraced this opportunity to the nest of my knowledge and ability and I think so far its been good it is very interesting, albeit sometimes it's quite tiring,"
