Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah is upbeat ahead of his side’s Ghana Premier League clash against Hearts of Oak this weekend.
The Hunters are scheduled to travel to Accra to take on the Phobians on Sunday, February 1, in their Week 21 fixture of the 2025/26 league campaign.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Kobina Amissah stressed that there is no reason to fear Hearts of Oak, arguing that the only thing that sets the two teams apart is the big name of the Accra-based club.
“Playing against Hearts of Oak is always tough. It is not easy to confidently say we are going to beat Hearts. Our plan is to stick to our normal game and aim for a positive result.
“As a coach, I have no reason to fear Hearts of Oak. I have faced them many times before. The only thing that sets them apart is their big name: the players are just like any others. We also have experienced players who have proven themselves in this league, just as Hearts have,” Kobina Amissah told Akoma FM in an interview on Thursday.
The Week 21 encounter between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
