Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah is anticipating a tough clash against Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League this weekend, but insists his side is capable of upsetting the odds.
The Hunters will take on the Phobians in a Week 21 fixture of the 2025/26 league campaign on Sunday, February 1.
Speaking to Akoma FM in an interview on Friday, Kobina Amissah said, “Playing against Hearts of Oak is always tough. It is not easy to confidently say we are going to beat Hearts. Our plan is to stick to our normal game and aim for a positive result.”
According to the tactician, his team has prepared well to face the league giants and will head into the match without any fear.
“As a coach, I have no reason to fear Hearts of Oak. I have faced them many times before. The only thing that sets them apart is their big name: the players are just like any others. We also have experienced players who have proven themselves in this league, just as Hearts have,” Kobina Amissah said.
The Week 21 contest between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United will kick off at 3 pm on Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
