Four Ghanaian coaches have departed for Wales to participate in the UEFA B Licence Coaching Course organised by the Football Association of Wales, as part of an ongoing technical partnership with the Ghana Football Association.
Those travelling for the programme are Black Galaxies assistant coach Godwin Ashitey Attram, Black Satellites assistant coach Winfred Dormon, national U-15 coach Fatawu Salifu, and Hearts of Oak assistant coach Abdulai Gazale. The course will run from Thursday, January 29 to Friday, February 20, 2026.
The FAW is hosting the programme as part of a broader collaboration aimed at strengthening coach education and facilitating technical exchange between the two associations. While the FAW is funding part of the initiative, the GFA is covering the full course fees and flights for the coaches.
The training offers direct access to the FAW’s coaching education pathway and international best practices. The coaches’ participation is expected to enhance technical capacity and support the long-term development of Ghanaian football, in line with efforts to build sustainable coaching and youth development structures.
