The Confederation of African Football Executive Committee will meet on February 13 at the Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with CAF President Patrice Motsepe expected to chair the session.
The meeting follows an announcement made by Dr. Motsepe on January 30 confirming that an Executive Committee session had been convened. A press conference will be held immediately after the meeting to outline key outcomes and decisions.
As CAF’s highest decision-making body outside the General Assembly, the Executive Committee is set to review important regulatory matters, including proposed amendments to the CAF Disciplinary Code.
The discussions are aimed at strengthening the authority of CAF’s Judicial Bodies to impose tougher and more effective sanctions for serious breaches of CAF Statutes and Regulations. Particular attention will be placed on conduct that undermines the reputation, integrity, and global competitiveness of African football and CAF competitions.
The meeting is expected to produce significant governance and disciplinary decisions that could shape the future regulatory framework of African football.
