The head coach of Aduana FC, Aristica Cioaba, is confident his team will defeat Asante Kotoko this weekend to reach the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup.
The team from Dormaa is travelling to Kumasi to battle the Porcupine Warriors in a highly anticipated Round of 16 tie.
Speaking in his pre-match interview, Aristica Cioaba emphasised that if his Aduana FC players respect their game plan and tactics, they will overcome Asante Kotoko at the end of the contest.
“This is only one game. If we lose, we are out, so the players need to focus throughout the 90 minutes. If we can respect our plan and tactics, we can win the game.
“Kotoko is a good team, they are playing at home, but we are ready to go in there and fight to win there to go into the next round. I’m confident that we can win the game,” Aristica Cioaba told Aduana FC TV.
The MTN FA Cup Round of 16 clash between Asante Kotoko and Aduana FC will be played on Sunday, February 8, and is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
