Three coaches have emerged as leading contenders for the Division One League NASCO Coach of the Month award for January following outstanding performances across their respective zones.
Ayuba Abdul Kadir of Golden Warriors delivered a flawless run, guiding his side through four matches without dropping a point. His team’s perfect record maintained momentum in their campaign and reinforced their status as one of the division’s most consistent outfits.
In Zone Two, Ali Yakubu matched that achievement with Ebusua Dwarfs, steering the former Premier League side to four consecutive victories during the month.
Yakubu’s tactical organisation and squad management proved decisive as Dwarfs strengthened their push for promotion contention.
Completing the shortlist is Debibi United coach Isaac Nii Armah, whose team recorded three wins and one draw from four fixtures in Zone One.
His side demonstrated resilience and attacking balance, ensuring valuable points in a competitive group. The monthly recognition celebrates technical excellence and consistency among Division One managers, rewarding those who elevate performance standards.
The eventual winner will receive a NASCO 32-inch television set, adding further incentive to the honour.
