Swiss international of Ghanaian descent Kwadwo Duah was in fine form when Ludogorets secured a comeback victory over Lokomotiv Sofia in the Bulgarian top-flight on Saturday afternoon.
The 28-year-old, who has opted to represent Switzerland over Ghana started and played for 55 minutes as his outfit cruised to a 3-1 away win over their opponent in a highly competitive clash, held at the Sofia Stadium.
Duah played a pivotal role by registering a crucial assist, contributing to the sides’ victory over Lokomotiv Sofia.
Ludogorets were handed an early scare after Spas Delev gave Lokomotiv Sofia the lead after just eight minutes into the match. The host went to the halftime break with the advantage.
Putting on a stellar performance, Ludogorets staged a strong comeback to secure a significant away victory over their opponent in the round 20 of the top-flight.
Ludogorets pulled parity one minute into the second half through Ivaylo Chochev after being set up by the Swiss-Ghanaian international.
In the 59th-minute, the visitors found the back of the net to extend their lead in the match through Petar Stanic, who converted perfectly from the spot before Rwan Cruz scored to cement victory six minutes to full time.
The 28-year-old attacker has scored three goals and provided just an assist in four appearances in the Bulgarian top-flight this season.
