Three players have been nominated for the NASCO Premier League Player of the Month award for January after delivering decisive performances for their clubs during the period.
The shortlisted players are FC Samartex’s Christian Agyenim Boateng, Medeama midfielder Salim Adams and Veteran striker John Antwi of Dreams FC.
Boateng was central to Samartex’s strong showing in January as the club extended its unbeaten run. The midfielder scored three goals in four league matches and produced a series of consistent performances, earning two NASCO Player of the Match awards in the process.
Adams also impressed for Medeama SC, finding the net three times in five league appearances. His most notable contribution came in a 2-1 away win over Vision FC, where he scored both goals to complete a comeback victory. His influence across the month earned him two Player of the Match honours.
Dreams FC captain Antwi led from the front during a critical period for his side. He scored three goals in five matches, including a brace against Vision FC, as Dreams FC pulled clear of the relegation zone.
The winner of the January award will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set from Electroland Ghana Limited, along with a NASCO double-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer.
