Ghanaian youngster Yassin Mohammed has completed a loan move from Swedish giants Malmo FF to partner club BK Olympic as he continues his development in Europe, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm
The 18-year-old striker will spend the 2025 season with BK Olympic, who compete in Ettan Sodra, Sweden’s third tier, in a move designed to give him valuable senior-level experience.
Mohammed joined Malmo last year from the renowned WAFA Academy in Ghana and is regarded as one of the club’s exciting attacking prospects.
The Swedish giants have a long-standing partnership with BK Olympic, often sending promising talents there to gain competitive minutes and adapt to the demands of senior football.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Mohammed expressed optimism about the move.
“Being loaned to BK Olympic feels like a good step for me where I hope we have a good season together,” he said.
The Ghanaian forward impressed at youth level last season, scoring seven goals in 11 matches in the P19 Allsvenskan. His sharp movement, finishing ability and physical presence have marked him out as one to watch.
The loan spell is expected to help Mohammed further sharpen his game and position him for a future breakthrough at Malmo as he continues flying the Ghanaian flag in Sweden.
