Ghanaian football legend Stephen Appiah has sent his best wishes to young forward Daniel Asante Amoh, who has joined Turkish giants Fenerbahce on a loan deal from Inter Millas FC.
The 18-year-old will spend the 2026 season with the club’s youth team, gaining experience in one of Europe’s competitive environments.
Appiah, who enjoyed a successful spell with Fenerbahce between 2006 and 2008âwinning both the league and Turkish Cupâposted on Instagram, “Daniel Amoah, wishing you the best of luck,” offering his support as the young Ghanaian looks to make his mark in European football.
Amoh, who impressed at the 2023 Baby Jet U-16 Football Tournament with Great Somasâwinning the Best Player awardâhas shown promise as one of Ghana’s exciting attacking prospects. His performances earned him a move to Inter Millas before attracting interest from abroad.
The forward featured for Fenerbahce’s U-19 side in their 2-1 defeat to GençlerbirliÄi SK on Monday, marking his first competitive outing for the Turkish club.
Amoh had previously trialed with Swedish Allsvenskan side IFK Norrköping during the summer of 2025 but was unable to secure a move, making the Fenerbahce loan a key step in his development.
