Asante Kotoko may be without key winger Peter Amidu Acquah for Sunday’s highly anticipated Super Clash against Hearts of Oak.
The Porcupine Warriors are set to host their rivals at the Baba Yara Stadium for the Week 22 showdown, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 GMT.
Amidu Acquah has been a standout this season, topping the Ghana Premier League assist chart with seven assists, but reports suggest he could miss the crucial encounter.
Kotoko will approach the game under interim coach Prince Yaw Owusu, following the resignation of Karim Zito after the team’s FA Cup exit.
Heading into the fixture, Kotoko occupy fifth place on the league table with 35 points, just behind Hearts of Oak, who are fourth with 36 points, setting the stage for a tightly contested clash.
