Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah has opened up about the team’s recent impressive home form in the Ghana Premier League, insisting that a lot of credit should be given to the team’s supporters.
The Hunters are unbeaten at home since December 14, when they dispatched Eleven Wonders in a 1-0 triumph.
Since then, the team has taken maximum points from matches against Swedru All Blacks, Berekum Chelsea, Bibiani Gold Stars, Heart of Lions, and Young Apostles.
Speaking on his team’s improved home form, Kobina Amissah revealed that it’s a combination of many factors, including massive support from fans.
“We are always motivated by our numerous fans who troop to the stadium. When they cheer on the players, it gingers them to fight hard to win the game. We have also adopted certain tactical approach that is different from home and different from away. That is what is doing the trick for us,” the coach told Bechem United TV.
Despite the impressive home form, Bechem United are still struggling to compete during away games. The team has only managed to pick up two points from 10 away games since the start of the 2025/26 league campaign.
Coach Amissah and his boys will hope for a first away win against Vision FC next weekend when they engage the side in their Week 23 fixture.
