Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko has admitted that the team’s recent run of results is worrying, but he insists there is no need for panic as the league season heads into its final stretch.
The Tarkwa-based side have dropped valuable points in recent weeks, allowing second-placed Bibiani Gold Stars to close the gap in the Ghana Premier League title race. Medeama head into their Week 25 fixture with three draws, one win and one defeat in their last five matches.
Tanko is eager for a quick response from his players when they host Hohoe United at the TnA Stadium on Sunday, March 8.
"No, I mean it's disturbing but like I said we don't have to press any panic button. We still have 10 games five home five away and definitely all of us have a very tough matches and Bibiani will come to us," he told Medi TV.
"We will also go to Accra Hearts of Oak. So definitely we have to concentrate on the last 10 games and then try to win our matches especially starting on Sunday against Hohoe United,"
Hohoe United arrive for the clash with two wins from their last five games and will be aiming to move out of the relegation zone.
Sunday’s match will kick off at 3:00 pm.
