Aduana FC defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor has expressed optimism about his outfit securing both Ghana Premier League and FA Cup titles at the end of the 2025/2026 football campaign.
The Dormaa-based club has been one of the most impressive sides in the ongoing campaign, consistently delivering strong performances in the domestic competitions.
After 25 matches in the league, Aduana FC currently sit third on the table with 41 points, trailing league leaders Medeama SC by five points in what remains a tightly contested title race.
Despite the gap at the top, confidence remains high within the Aduana camp as the season enters its decisive phase. The Fire Boys are still firmly in the title conversation and believe they have what it takes to close the points gap and challenge for the championship before the campaign concludes.
Aduana FC are also enjoying a promising run in the FA Cup, where they have reached the quarterfinal stage. The two-time Ghana Premier League champions are set to face Techiman Liberty this weekend at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in a crucial clash that could move them one step closer to lifting the coveted trophy.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, Kuffuor reiterated the team’s determination to compete for both major domestic honours this season. According to the defender, the squad remains fully focused and believes the dream of securing a league and cup double is still very much achievable.
“We promised to win both the FA Cup and the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season. I will plead with the fans to cheer us to success,” Kuffuor said.
“We are still hopeful of winning the league because the season is not over yet. The points gap gives us an equal opportunity to fight and win the league.”
The 24-year-old centre-back has been a key addition to Aduana FC’s squad since completing his move from Nations FC during the winter transfer window. Since arriving at the club, he has quickly established himself as a dependable presence in defence, delivering solid performances that have strengthened the Fire Boys’ backline.
His composure, physical presence and defensive awareness have helped Aduana maintain their push on multiple fronts, with the club now eyeing a strong finish to what has already been an encouraging campaign.
With the league title race still wide open and a place in the FA Cup semifinals at stake this weekend, Aduana FC will be hoping their momentum continues as they chase what could be a historic double for the Dormaa-based side.
