Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford is anticipating a tough meeting with Dreams FC in their MTN FA Cup quarter-final clash this weekend.
The team from Kpando will take on their fellow Premier League side on Sunday, March 15, to battle for a place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Speaking ahead of the tie, Bashir Hayford stressed the importance of beating Swedru All Blacks in the Ghana Premier League last weekend, arguing that it will boost his players’ confidence in the upcoming FA Cup tie.
“The boys have been down, but this win will rekindle their spirit a little. It will get them up to fight in our next match.
“The match won’t be an easy match, so we will make sure that this match-winning booster will help us when we travel to Cape Coast,” Bashir Hayford told Heart of Lions TV.
The FA Cup quarter-final clash between Dreams FC and Heart of Lions will kick off at 3 pm at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
