Black Stars forward Prince Osei Owusu scored for the second game running in the MLS as CF Montreal suffered a 2-1 defeat at Orlando City on Saturday evening.
The 29-year-old rose high to head home in the 24th minute as the Canadians level the score at the Inter&Co Stadium.
However, Martin Ojeda's 31st minute strike sealed victory for the hosts, who had opened the scoring after 18 minutes through Duncan McGuire.
The goal was Owusu's second in four league matches this season, with his first coming against New York Red Bulls in the 3-0 victory at the Sports Illustrated Stadium last week.
The prolific scorer is expected to make Otto Addo's squad for Ghana's upcoming international friendlies against Germany and Austria later this month.
Owusu, who ended last season as Montreal's top scorer with 13 league goals, made his Black Stars debut in November 2025 during the Kirin Cup tournament.
