Kofi Asamoah netted twice in the second half to secure a point for bottom side Techiman Eleven Wonders in their home clash against former Champions FC Samartex.
The visitors opened the scoring early in the first half through Gabriel Osei before a second-half strike from Emmanuel Marmah to keep them in control.
However, Asamoah’s late strike denied the Timbers victory at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
Samartex got off to a blistering start after Osei converted just five minutes into the match.
The Samreboi club almost doubled their advantage moments later, but it took resolute defending from the hosts to stop a second from Samartex.
Following a dominant first half from Samartex, Eleven Wonders took charge of the second stanza, and soon their efforts paid off with Asamoah levelling for the hosts.
But their celebrations were cut short after a mistake in the box saw Samartex win a penalty. Emmanuel Marmah elected himself for the spot kick, where he missed before rebounding home.
With just four minutes left, Asamoah responded to ensure the relegation-threatened side shared the spoils at home.
