Alexander Djiku and Kojo Oppong Peprah are set to join the Black Stars’ training camp in Vienna today.
Ghana’s senior national team officially opened camp on Sunday ahead of their March international friendlies against Austria and Germany.
On Monday, 21 players participated in the first session, including goalkeepers Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Benjamin Asare, and Joseph Anang, as well as defenders Patrick Pfeiffer, Derrick Luckassen, Derrick Kohn, Jerome Opoku, Caleb Yirenkyi, Jonas Adjetey, Marvin Senaya, and Gideon Mensah.
Midfielders and attackers in action included Elisha Owusu, Ibrahim Sulemana, Kwasi Sibo, Jordan Ayew, Prince Kwabena Adu, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Kamal Deen Sulemana, and Daniel Agyei. Deputy captain Thomas Partey joined the camp but did not take part in training.
Djiku and Oppong Peprah are expected to link up with the squad today as preparations intensify.
Ghana will face Austria at the Ernst Happel Stadium on Friday, March 27, before traveling to Stuttgart to take on Germany on Monday, March 30.
These fixtures are part of the Black Stars’ buildup to the 2026 World Cup in North America.
