Former Ghana international, Nii Odartey Lamptey beleives Otto Addo and his technical team will deliver at the 2026 World Cup slated for this summer.
After failing to guide the team to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament for over two decades, Otto Addo guided the Black Stars to secure qualification to the Mundial.
The senior national team wrapped up 2025 without losing a game as they finished on top of their group after World Cup qualifiers.
Despite calls for his dismissal ahead of the Mundial, Odartey Lamptey beleives Otto Addo and his technical team will deliver at the tournament, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico.
"I have absolute trust in Otto Addo and his technical team to deliver for Ghana at the 2026 World Cup," he told GHOne TV.
Ghana have been housed in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia in Group L. The Black Stars will kick off their campaign against Panama on June 17, face England on June 23, and conclude the group stage against Croatia on June 27.
Currently, the Black Stars are in Vienna preparing for their upcoming friendly games against Austria and Germany, slated for this month.
