GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum has highlighted the smooth integration of new players into the Black Stars setup, pointing to their quick adaptation during camp.
"The debutants are doing fairly well, integrating into the team. honestly, Black Stars debutants with French backgrounds settle into the team very quickly because the core of the team has a similar background," he told Kessben Sports.
A total of 25 players took part in Tuesday’s training session, all working hard to impress head coach Otto Addo ahead of the upcoming game.
The squad included key names such as Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Antoine Semenyo, Alexander Djiku, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, alongside fresh faces aiming to make their mark. Players trained on Wednesday at the Vienna Football Campus, participating in tactical and shooting drills.
Preparations will continue on Thursday as the team fine-tunes its approach. The Black Stars are set to face Austria in an international friendly on Friday, March 27, 2026.
