Ghanaian attacker Issah Abass came off the bench to haul Radnicki Nis level, but his goal was not enough in a 3â2 defeat away to Vojvodina in the Serbian Super League.
Introduced at half-time, Abass brought energy and direct running to a Radnicki side that had struggled before the break.
Vojvodina struck first on 21 minutes through Marko Velickovic after good work from Aleksa Vukanovic. Abass replied ten minutes into the second half, timing his run perfectly to meet Ranko Jokic’s pass and sweep home for 1â1.
However, Radnicki’s parity was short-lived. Vukanovic restored Vojvodina’s lead on 58 minutes, finishing a move started by Velickovic, before Vukan Savicevic added a third just five minutes later from a Lucas Barros assist. Mateja Radonjic pulled one back late on from Gboly Ariyibi’s cross, but Radnicki could not find an equaliser.
Abass’s strike continues a solid 2025/26 Serbian Super League campaign, with the Ghanaian now on 8 appearances, 1 goal, and 0 assists for Radnicki Nis.
