Viktoria Plzen Head Coach Martin Hysky has no doubts his striker Prince Kwabena Adu has all the qualities to play at the upcoming FIFA 2026 World Cup for Ghana.
The 22-year-old has shown tremendous since returning from the last international where he featured for the Black Stars in the two friendlies against Austria and Germany.
On Saturday, 11 April 2026, Adu delivered a standout performance as Viktoria PlzeÅ secured a hard-fought 0â0 draw against league leaders Slavia Prague.
Making his first start since early March, the striker showed renewed sharpness and intent, emerging as one of PlzeÅ’s most dangerous attacking threats.
Adu’s performance marked a significant turnaround following a difficult outing in the team’s previous defeat to ZlÃn.
“We all know what he is capable of. He’s a game-changing player who can rise to big occasions,” Hyský said after the match.
“He was one of our most dangerous players today. It’s just unfortunate he couldn’t convert his chance after a great individual run.’’
Hysky also added: “After returning, I saw a different player. He has a big ambitionâto represent Ghana at the World Cup. If he continues like this, he will be very important for us in the rest of the season.”
Adu has scored six goals in 23 league appearances this season.
