German Bundesliga side Freiburg were in attendance last weekend to watch Ghanaian teenager Prince Amoako Junior, who scored his seventh goal of the Danish Superliga season for FC Nordsjælland.
The 18-year-old winger found the net in a 2-1 victory over Viborg FF, continuing a breakout campaign that has seen him register seven goals and five assists in the league. He also leads the Danish top flight in successful dribbles, completing 51 so far this season.
Amoako, who came through the Right to Dream academy, is following a familiar path blazed by Ghana stars like Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana. His explosive rise has attracted scouts from several European clubs, with Freiburg the latest to monitor his progress.
With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the teenager is now being tipped as a potential wildcard for Ghana's squad in North America. For now, he remains focused on helping Nordsjælland in their title push, but a summer move could be on the cards.
