Hearts of Oak open contract talks with Kelvin Osei Asibey

Hearts of Oak are in talks with centre-back Kelvin Osei Asibey over a possible contract extension as the club looks to secure his future.

The 25-year-old joined Hearts in 2023 from Eleven Wonders after an impressive spell and has since become a key part of the team. He signed a three-year deal with an option for an additional year.

Sources indicate that discussions are ongoing, with both parties considering terms for a new agreement.

Asibey is widely seen as one of the most consistent defenders in the Ghana Premier League, with over 80 appearances in the top flight.

This season, he has featured in 25 league matches, scoring once and playing an important role in Hearts’ defensive setup.
