The Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) and the Kwesi Nyantakyi Foundation will embark on a special outreach programme at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
The initiative is expected to combine football, entertainment and social support as part of efforts to engage and inspire inmates through sports and community activities.
One of the major highlights of the visit will be a football match involving former Black Stars players and prison inmates.
There will also be a musical show featuring top Ghanaian musicians and celebrities, while sports equipment will be donated to support activities within the prison.
President of the GFA and CAF second vice president Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku is expected to attend the event as the guest of honour.
The programme is aimed at promoting rehabilitation, inclusion and hope through football and entertainment while strengthening the relationship between sports institutions and the wider community.
