Ghanaian referee Reginald Collins Amoah has been appointed by CAF to officiate the group stage match between Mozambique and Mali at the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The encounter will be played at the Mohammed VI Football Complex and is scheduled to kick off at 19:00 GMT.
Amoah will serve as the centre referee and will be assisted by Oriya Zaoubaye as Assistant Referee One, while Gabon’s Junior Assoughe has been named Assistant Referee Two.
Egyptian official Mohamed Mahmoud will act as the fourth referee, with Vincent Nkemazem taking up the role of Reserve Assistant Referee.
CAF also confirmed Eritrean official Negash Negassi as the Match Commissioner for the fixture, while Burkina Faso’s Paulin Samuel will serve as the Referees Assessor.
The latest appointment is another significant milestone for Amoah, who has continued to gain recognition for his performances and consistency on the continental stage.
His selection reflects the growing reputation of Ghanaian referees within CAF competitions, with officials from the country increasingly trusted with key assignments at major African tournaments.
