Ghanaian defender Issaka Seidu scored Ljungskile’s fourth goal in the 90th minute as they brushed aside Ãsters IF 4-1 away from home in Superettan Round 8.
Ljungskile had already built control through Alfons Borén’s 12th-minute opener and Daniel Ljung’s second-half finish, before Daniel Lagerloef added a third late on. Ãsters pulled one back through an own goal by Gideon Mensah in the 77th minute, but Seidu ended any hope of a comeback with the final strike.
The result underlined Ljungskile’s sharp attacking form, with the visitors making the most of their chances despite having less possession. Seidu’s goal also added to what has been a productive campaign for the former Ghana youth defender, who now has seven appearances in the 2026 Superettan with one goal and no assists. Ljungskile’s next league match is away to Norrby on Saturday, May 23.
This was a strong statement win for Ljungskile, and Seidu’s late finish made the performance even sweeter for the away side.
