Morocco head coach Mohamed Ouahbi has officially unveiled his final 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Atlas Lions coach has largely maintained faith in the core group of players that helped the national team remain competitive in recent international competitions, while also handing opportunities to a few additional names ahead of the global tournament.
Ouahbi is expected to rely on a balanced mix of experience and emerging talent as Morocco prepares for what promises to be a challenging World Cup campaign.
Captain Achraf Hakimi will once again lead the Atlas Lions into the tournament alongside several of Morocco’s biggest stars.
The final squad includes key figures such as goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, defenders Nayef Aguerd and Noussair Mazraoui, midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, striker Ayyoub El Kaabi, and talisman Brahim Diaz.
Morocco’s final list consists of three goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, and seven attackers as the coaching staff aims to maintain balance across all departments.
