Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Yeboah has returned to Danish side Brondby after Swedish club Halmstad decided not to exercise the purchase option included in his loan agreement.
Yeboah joined Halmstad on loan in July 2025, but the Allsvenskan club opted against making the move permanent following the end of his spell.
The 23-year-old played 759 minutes of league football during the 2025 season, scoring one goal. However, he struggled for game time in 2026, featuring for just 76 minutes without finding the net.
Halmstad confirmed Yeboah's departure in a brief statement, thanking him for his contribution both on and off the pitch.
Sporting director Jesper Westerberg had previously indicated the Ghanaian was unlikely to remain at the club.
"Right now it is quite clear that he is returning to Brondby," Westerberg said, adding that discussions over playing time had taken place with the coaching staff.
Yeboah will now return to Brondby ahead of the new season, where he will look to fight for a place in the first team.
