Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has insisted Ghana will approach Saturday's decisive FIFA World Cup clash against Croatia with only one objective: to be better than their opponents.
The Black Stars head into the final Group L fixture in a strong position after collecting four points from victories over Panama and a draw against England, leaving them on the brink of the Round of 32.
Although a draw would be enough to secure qualification, Queiroz says his players are focused solely on delivering another top performance.
"Tomorrow, we only have one option. We need to come out more stronger and better than Croatia," the Portuguese coach said during his pre-match press conference.
Queiroz has overseen a remarkable turnaround since taking charge in April, guiding Ghana to an unbeaten start at the World Cup while keeping clean sheets in both group matches.
Victory over Croatia would guarantee qualification and could also see the Black Stars finish top of Group L, depending on the outcome of the match between England and Panama.
The four-time African champions are seeking to reach the knockout stages of the World Cup for the first time since their run to the quarter-finals in South Africa in 2010.
