Black Stars goalkeeping coach Fatawu Dauda has completed his UEFA B Goalkeeping Diploma with the Football Association of Wales, adding another prestigious qualification to his growing coaching portfolio.
The former Ghana international, who is currently part of Carlos Queiroz's technical staff at the World Cup, received his certificate at a ceremony in Colliers Park, Wales, on Tuesday.
Dauda, born June 4, 1985, in Ghana, took to social media to express his excitement and gratitude.
"Very excited to complete my UEFA B Goalkeeping Diploma with the Wales FA," he wrote. "A very big thank you to my organization @right2dream who made this happen, not only developing student athletes but also coaches."
He also acknowledged his technical director Tony Mamodaly for "inspiring and encouraging me every day".
Dauda is currently in the Black Stars camp as part of the goalkeeping staff, supervising the team's shot-stoppers â Benjamin Asare, Ati Zigi, Joseph Annan, and Solomon Agbasi â as they prepare for Saturday's crucial Round of 16 clash against Colombia.
The former Ashanti Gold goalkeeper has been a key figure in Ghana's goalkeeping department, bringing his international experience to the current crop of keepers.
His latest achievement adds to his growing reputation as one of Ghana's emerging coaching talents.
