The Black Queens have received a revised fixture schedule for the group stage of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) following adjustments to the tournament programme by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Kim Lars Bjorkegren's side will open their Group C campaign against Cape Verde on Wednesday, July 29, at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca. The match will kick off at 17:00 GMT.
Ghana will return to the same venue on Sunday, August 2, to face Cameroon in their second group game, with kick-off also set for 17:00 GMT.
The Black Queens will conclude their group stage campaign against Mali on Thursday, August 6. The decisive Group C fixture will kick off at 20:00 GMT, again at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca.
The revised fixture schedule comes after CAF made changes to the tournament's operational programme, which also saw Ghana's team base moved from Fez to Casablanca ahead of the competition.
The Black Queens will be hoping to make a strong start as they target a place in the knockout stages and continue their push for qualification to the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup through the continental tournament.
Having shown encouraging progress under head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren, Ghana will be aiming to challenge for continental honours in Morocco while returning to the Women's World Cup for the first time since 2007.
