Former Medeama forward Derrick Fordjour is on the verge of joining Asante Kotoko after leaving the Ghana Premier League champions as a free agent.
The 26-year-old has emerged as Kotoko's latest transfer target as the Porcupine Warriors continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Fordjour became available after ending his four-year stay with Medeama, where he enjoyed considerable success, winning two Ghana Premier League titles with the Tarkwa-based club.
The forward is expected to add depth and experience to Kotoko's attacking options as the Reds prepare for another campaign in domestic football.
Fordjour's move would bring to an end a successful chapter with Medeama, where he established himself as a reliable member of the squad during one of the club's most successful periods.
If completed, the deal would mark one of the notable domestic transfers ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
