Black Stars midfielder Kwasi Sibo has set his sights on playing in the UEFA Champions League, insisting he still has the quality and ambition to compete at the highest level in Europe.
The 28-year-old is currently without a club after his contract with Spanish side Real Oviedo expired in the summer of 2026, but he remains confident of securing a move to a team with European ambitions.
Sibo revealed that he would welcome the opportunity to join a Champions League club if the right offer arrives.
"I still have the strength to be in Europe, to compete. If my agent is able to find a team that will be competing in the Champions League, compete in the European Cup, I'm always at service and I'm ready to face that challenge to play in the Champions League," he told 3Sports.
The midfielder’s stock has risen following his impressive performances for Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he made his tournament debut against Panama before earning a starting role against England.
Sibo featured for 249 minutes during the competition, playing 85 minutes against Croatia and 62 minutes against Colombia as Ghana progressed from the group stage before exiting in the Round of 32.
The former Real Oviedo player has reportedly attracted interest from clubs in the Premier League and Saudi Pro League.
