Ghana international Osman Bukari has expressed his delight after sealing a return to Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade ahead of the 2026/27 season, promising supporters that he is ready to create more unforgettable moments with the club.
The 27-year-old winger has rejoined Red Star on a one-year loan deal with an option to make the move permanent, ending his spell in Major League Soccer with Austin FC and marking a return to the club where he enjoyed some of the best football of his career.
Shortly after completing the transfer, Bukari took to social media to share his excitement about wearing the famous red and white colours once again.
“Back home. Once a Red, always a Red. Let’s create memories together again. Alhamdulillah for everything,” Bukari wrote on X.
Bukari initially joined Red Star in 2022 and quickly became one of the club’s standout performers. Across two successful seasons, he made 78 appearances in all competitions, scoring 25 goals while also contributing 20 assists.
His impressive performances helped the Serbian champions maintain domestic dominance and earned him recognition as one of the league’s most exciting attacking players before he secured a move to MLS side Austin FC.
Now back in Belgrade, Bukari will be aiming to recapture the form that made him a fan favourite while strengthening Red Star’s squad for another campaign in the Serbian SuperLiga and European competitions.
Since making his Black Stars debut in 2021, Bukari has earned 19 caps and scored three goals, establishing himself as one of Ghana’s most dangerous wide attackers.
