Dutch-Ghanaian left-back Prince Aning has officially joined Telstar, with the club confirming that the 22-year-old has signed a contract until the summer of 2028, including an option for an additional year.
Aning impressed during a recent trial period, convincing the technical staff that he could add quality and depth on the left side of defence.
Born in the Netherlands, Aning is of Ghanaian descent and has represented the Netherlands at youth international level. He started his youth career with OSV Amsterdam, then joined Ajax youth side from 2012 to 2022. He made the move to Borussia Dortmund II in 2022, where he featured in 31 official matches for the German club’s reserve side.
Telstar view his arrival as an important step in strengthening their back line ahead of the new Eerste Divisie campaign. The club’s decision to offer him a multi-year deal reflects their belief in his potential and provides Aning with a stable platform to continue his development in professional football.
With his blend of technical ability, pace and modern full-back qualities, both Telstar and Aning hope this move will be a springboard to consistent senior performances and further progression in the coming seasons.
