Fossano have secured Ghanaian right winger Derrick Gyimah, who joins from Cuneo on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old switches clubs in Italy after spending the 2025-26 season with Cuneo. Gyimahs move to Fossano was completed on 31 July 2026, marking his latest step in a career spent in the Italian game.
Gyimah operates primarily on the right wing and is right-footed. Born in Suame, Ghana, he began his youth career with Savigliano before joining Torinos Under-17 side in 2019. He progressed through Torinos Under-18 and Under-19 teams, before leaving the club for Novara in January 2022.
The winger subsequently moved to Bra in July 2022 and spent the 2023-24 campaign there. He joined Arconatese on a free transfer in July 2024, then moved to Cuneo a year later.
Gyimah has built considerable experience in Serie D, making 103 appearances in the competition across the available records. He scored 11 goals and provided four assists in those matches, while also featuring in the Coppa Serie D and the Serie D play-offs.
His most productive Serie D record came in one of the competitions A sections, where he registered 10 goals and one assist in 73 appearances. He also made 30 appearances in another Serie D section, scoring once and supplying three assists.
The Ghanaian has also played in youth competitions, including Under-17, Under-18 and Primavera 1 football. His record at Under-18 level includes two goals and two assists from 15 appearances, while he contributed one assist in 11 Primavera 1 matches.
Gyimahs move to Fossano follows his single season with Cuneo, for whom he arrived after Arconatese. The transfer history also includes spells with Bra, Novara and Torino during his development, as well as his early time at Savigliano.
Fossano have added the right winger without a transfer fee, with Gyimahs switch from Cuneo recorded as a free transfer.
