Aduana FC returned to winning ways at the Sompa Invitational Cup on Friday after beating fellow Ghana Premier League side Bechem United 1-0 at Sunyani Coronation Park.
The result came a day after Aduana suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat by Karela United, giving them a positive response as they continue preparations for the new football season.
The two Ghana Premier League clubs met on the third day of the six-team tournament, with both sides determined to claim victory.
After a goalless first half, Aduana eventually broke the deadlock through new signing Stephen Amankona.
The forward converted from the penalty spot in the 69th minute to give Aduana the lead and ultimately settle the contest.

Bechem United were unable to find a response as Aduana held on to secure their second victory of the tournament.
The win means Aduana FC have now recorded two victories and one defeat from their opening three matches in the Sompa Invitational Cup.
The tournament, which is being staged at Sunyani Coronation Park, features six clubs and is designed to provide teams with competitive preparation ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The second edition of the Sompa Invitational Cup will run until 16 August, giving the participating clubs further opportunities to assess their squads, improve match fitness and get ready for the 2026/27 campaign.
