Ghanaian midfielder Frank Junior Adjei scored as Hammarby IF produced a convincing 4-0 victory over Kalmar FF in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
The result strengthened Hammarby’s position near the top of the table, while Kalmar endured another difficult afternoon at home.
Adjei opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, giving Hammarby a deserved advantage before half-time. The midfielder finished a move created by Amin Boudri, placing his effort beyond Kalmar goalkeeper Samuel Brolin. His goal gave the visitors confidence and ensured they entered the interval in control.
Hammarby continued to dominate after the restart and quickly extended their lead. Frederik Winther struck in the 48th minute after receiving an assist from Victor Lind, leaving Kalmar with a difficult challenge. Noah Persson added a third six minutes later, again benefiting from Boudri’s creativity.
Paulos Abraham completed the scoring in the 61st minute, converting another assist from Lind. Hammarby’s efficient attack and disciplined defending left Kalmar with no route back into the contest.
Adjei was substituted in the 74th minute after a productive display. He received a Sofascore rating of 8.1, while Hammarby completed a comfortable away win.
