Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed the signing of highly-rated English-born Ghanaian midfielder Kwasi Senyah from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 16-year-old has joined Tottenham’s Academy and will link up with the club’s Under-18 side as a first-year scholar as he continues his development in north London.
Senyah is regarded as a promising central midfielder and has already gained valuable experience playing above his age group.
He made his Under-18 Premier League debut for Wolves in January 2025 at just 14 years old, underlining the faith placed in his ability and potential at a very young age.
The midfielder went on to feature regularly for Wolves at Under-18 level last season despite still being a schoolboy.
His impressive progress also earned him an opportunity with the club’s Under-21 side. Senyah made his debut for the Wolves U21s against Monaco in the Premier League International Cup in February, providing another indication of his rapid development through the academy system.
His move to Tottenham represents the next important step in his young career, with the London club hoping to nurture his technical qualities and footballing intelligence as he progresses through their academy ranks.
On the international stage, Senyah has represented England at Under-16 level.
However, having Ghanaian heritage, his development will also be of interest to Ghanaian football followers, particularly given the country’s continued efforts to identify and attract talented young players of Ghanaian descent developing abroad.
Tottenham's decision to bring Senyah into their Under-18 setup reflects the youngster's growing reputation and the potential he has demonstrated despite his age.
