Ghana’s Black Maidens won matchday three of their WAFU-B U17 Girls Cup campaign in commanding fashion, defeating Togo 4-0 at the Stade du Lycée Scientifique.
The young Ghanaian side needed only three minutes to take control. Gloria Ameaa produced an early finish to give the Black Maidens a dream start and immediately put Togo under pressure.
Ghana doubled their advantage six minutes later when captain Seidatu Wahab converted a penalty. The early setback left Togo chasing the game, while Ghana continued to look confident in possession and dangerous in attack.
After the break, Linda Achiaa added her name to the scoresheet in the 53rd minute, pushing Ghana further out of reach. Achiaa struck again in the 69th minute to complete her brace and seal a comprehensive victory.
The 4-0 result reflected Ghana’s authority throughout the contest. The Black Maidens controlled the key moments, created the clearer opportunities and finished efficiently whenever Togo’s defence opened space.
The result also provides valuable confidence for a squad determined to compete strongly for regional honours.
