In his acceptance speech, Nana Asante Okorie outlined a forward-looking vision centered on development and youth empowerment. He stressed the urgent need to create opportunities for young people, whom he described as the backbone of Amanase’s future.
“I am committed to creating opportunities that will ensure sustainable employment for our young people. The future of Amanase lies in the hands of the youth and it is our collective responsibility to guide and support them,” he said.
He further revealed plans to engage investors and collaborate with key stakeholders to stimulate economic growth, improve livelihoods, and position Amanase as a hub for sustainable development.
Tackling Unemployment and Social Challenges

Nana Asante Okorie also used the platform to caution the youth against drug abuse and other social vices, urging them to remain disciplined, focused, and prepared to assume leadership roles in the future.
He expressed profound appreciation to Osaberima Etuobefom Asare Panin, the Chief of Amanase, as well as the council of elders and traditional leaders, for the confidence reposed in him.
“I am deeply honoured by this responsibility and grateful for the trust you have placed in me. I will work tirelessly to justify this confidence and to serve the people of Amanase faithfully,” he affirmed.
