Former Olympics Stalwart Passes On

A former stalwart player of Accra Great Olympics, Thomas Okanta Vanderpuije, has passed on.
Vanderpuije (Nii Darko I), 67, died at the Korle- Bu Teaching Hospital on September 1, 2012.
He played along teammates like Tetteh Bogie Kabu, Awudu Nelson, Joe Cabble, Sabban Hammond (Dr.), Ayi Armah, Edend Boye among others from 1964 to 1974.
