The Bechem Central Mosque in the Tano South Municipal Assembly has been closed down temporarily to prevent possible violent clash between Hausas and some Moslems in Bechem Zongo.
The Tano South Municipal Security Council took the decision on Friday having picked intelligence the likelihood of the two groups to engage clash.
The two factions have been disputing over a parcel of land.
The mosque will therefore not be opened for Friday Jummah prayers and other prayers indefinitely until the security situation improves.
