Togbe Dadzawa III, Paramount Chief of Shia Traditional Area has appealed to government and benevolent institutions to help expand the school's infrastructure to accommodate the increasing number of students.
He said the school had not seen any government intervention since it was established twenty years ago and has few structures put up by the community.
Togbe Dadzawa, who was speaking at a durbar in honour of Dr. Archibald Letsa, Volta Regional Minister who was inspecting facilities at the School, said since the inception of the free Senior High School policy last year, the school's enrolment has gone up, calling for more classrooms and other facilities.
He said though the school was now boarding, it lacked dormitories, dining and assembly halls.
Togbe Dadzawa said the traditional area had donated a 25 acre land to the school for the new facilities.
Dr Letsa said the school has been earmarked to benefit from an E-block project and promised to meet stakeholders to address the school's needs.
He said the Ho Municipal Assembly had also selected the school to benefit from a satellite television project to help boost teaching and learning.
Dr Letsa also promised them a 12-seater institutional latrine.
