Claudia Lumor with some of the traditional leaders
Entrepreneur and founder of Glitz Africa Magazine, Claudia Lumor, over the weekend hosted some traditional leaders in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The event, which took place at the Manhyia – Regional House of Chiefs in Kumasi, where she met with the traditional leaders and other stakeholders, was to express profound gratitude for the support she received throughout the campaign through to the elections, even though she didn’t win the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries in the Oforikrom Constituency.
“I’m humbled by the love of the community, our chiefs, Queen mothers, the youth, children, etc,” she said.
Despite the outcome, she emphasised that her primary goal was to serve the constituency, improve existing structures, foster unity, and enhance NPP’s representation in the area.
According to her, “This wasn’t a game to win at all cost, but rather a journey to serve.” She reiterated her commitment to bringing hope and implementing innovative structures to elevate the community’s lifestyle.
In another engagement with the party delegates, Claudia Lumor also extended her thanks, and acknowledged their role in deciding the future of the constituency.
She wished them all the best and encouraged the community to continue believing in Oforikrom, asserting that “Breaking the 8 is possible. Hold on to hope.”
Claudia noted that she is committed to the party and Ashanti Region, and is ever ready to work hard by going out to campaign massively to ensure Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia wins more votes, and becomes the next President of Ghana.
Additionally, she is going to support the party to make the NPP attractive to even members of the NDC to defeat to the NPP, by preaching the policies implemented by the government to the electorates for the past seven years to ‘Break the Eight’ Jinx.
However, she urged the members of the party to have confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the joint party vision to win the 2024 general elections and beyond.
