The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the 2024 Christmas festivities in style.
In a show of opulence and excitement, the party has imported customized bottles of Hennessy Cognac, emblazoned with the name of President Elect, John Dramani Mahama.
The bottles feature John Mahama’s name and the NDC logo, which is expected to land in Ghana in the coming days.
The customized brandy is part of the NDC’s plans to celebrate Mahama’s victory in the 2024 presidential elections.
The party is expected to hold series of celebrations across the country, culminating in a grand ceremony after the swearing in on 7th January 2025.
The NDC’s decision to import customized Hennessy Cognac has sparked excitement among party supporters, who see it as a symbol of Mahama’s victory to celebrate in style.
This is not the first time the NDC has celebrated a major milestone with customized liquor.
In 2012, the party imported customized bottles of champagne to celebrate Mahama’s victory in the presidential elections.
The NDC’s celebrations come ahead of John Mahama’s swearing-in ceremony, scheduled to take place on January 7, 2025.
The ceremony is expected to be attended by dignitaries from across the country and beyond.
The NDC’s victory in the 2024 presidential election marks a significant milestone for the party, which has been out of power since 2017.
President Elect, John Mahama’s campaign promises, including the implementation of a 24-hour economy strategy, the reduction of government size, and the abolition of the e-levy among other taxes, resonated with many Ghanaians.
