Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has expressed his joy over Andre Ayew's return to the club after joining on transfer deadline day.
Ayew, 28, re-joined the Swans on a three-and-a-half-year-deal from West Ham in a club record deal of £18 million, which could rise to £20 million on transfer deadline day.
Jenkins was over the moon with the Ghanaian's return to the club the first made his name in the English football.
“Andre is a player we know very well and the manager is delighted to welcome him into the squad,” said Huw.
“Aside from his experience and the fact he has been here before, his ability to play in different positions is a big help to Carlos.
“He will provide the options needed in certain games.
“With the way Jordan is playing, it will be interesting to see how his bond with his brother can develop in the remaining 13 league games.”
Anyew scored 12 goals in 34 league appearances during his first season at Swansea City before heading to West Ham in 2016.
